Select fittings from this catalog using dimensional data and respective Part Numbers. All Plasmatech fittings are identified for style and configuration by the first two digits in the Part Number followed by the letter ” F” for fractional tube O.D. or letter “M” for metric tube O.D. , then followed by numbers indicating tube O.D. or NPT sizes.

Tees And Crosses: Tees are described by first sizing the runs (1 to 2) and then the branch (3). Crosses are described by first sizing the runs (1 to 2) and then the branches (3 to 4). How to Order Plasmatech PTFE Fittings Tees And Crosses

Assembly Instructions For Plasmatech Tube FittingsAssembly Instructions For Plasmatech Tube Fittings:

Plasmatech fittings are shipped fully assembled, hand tight. They can be used with PTFE, glass, quartz or metal tubing. Tubing ends should be free of burrs and sharp edges to avoid damage to PTFE surfaces.

  1. Loosen nut one (1) turn.
  2. Insert tubing and tighten nut until fitting seal surface and tubing make contact, now torque nut an additional 1/4 turn (90º) to complete assembly.

Please note that flexible plastic tubing may require 1/4 to 1/2 turn to tighten nuts.

Use care not to over-torque nuts or damage to fitting may occur.
